Judgmental Feelings

A Very Happy Christmas and A Blessed Year ahead!

It has been a while.  Really it is!  I have been very busy with work and all. After 2 years of being full-time student, my graduate thesis is still...  I am not quite sure if I am making any progress at all.  Enough of that!

The first time I saw the video, I was stunned.  I do not know how to react.  So, I googled up who the priest in that video.  Another shocking truth surprised me.  The priest is from our Diocese.  My initial reaction was really negative since I adhere to the strict guidelines of the Liturgy.  I really love my Diocese and I cannot find the words to describe how I felt when I learned that the priest is from our Diocese.  They embrace the new trends but not to the point of disgracing the sanctity of the Liturgical celebration.  This clearly shows how I can easily judge people at first encounter.  And this is one thing that I should develop to avoid.

As I read some of the comments, they said that it was done after the mass and the video was the Final Hymn.  I got mixed feelings while I read the other comments.  But before the end of the video, the Priest said, "Magsitayo po tayo.."  Translation: "Let's all stand."  The video ends there.  There can be a few conclusions regarding that.  It can be that the priest sang during the Homily.  It can be right after Communion.  Or possible after the Prayer After Communion.  A persons imagination is unimaginable.  It is up to the viewer what can be depicted from watching this short clip.
