Understanding the call I cannot understand

This is an artwork by Peggy Pilapil-Lasa.
Everyone has a purpose in life and that is our calling.  We do not know why we are called to that and we do not understand.  But it is a gift from God.   We may have different perceptions on how it is packaged but it is a grace.  And we should be grateful for that grace.

As we accept the grace of our life purpose, we must commit to it.  Have an affective commitment and stick to it.  We must love our commitment generously.  We must love it because of genuine love and not because we have to nor we are used to it.

As we accept and love our purpose in life, we must live it.  We must not be contented in realizing what to do and how to do it.  We must also pray for the grace of "actually" doing it.  Without God's grace, we will just continue to be a bystander knowing what to do but not being able to do anything.

We must not cease in our prayers to God.  May we will be always be guided by the Holy Spirit to do what we have to do to answer God's call, to grow in our faith, to share it, and to live it.

Three things:
1.  Acceptance of the calling we cannot understand
2.  Love generously
3.  Live as an example
